Accommodation

Malimbu Cliff Villa is arranged over three levels to ensure every room makes the most of the stunning ocean views. Guests enter the villa at the uppermost level, via a balé (gazebo) where a large shell chandelier is suspended from the traditional serap roof. This floor houses a lobby, the huge master suite and one of the three guest bedrooms. Cream terrazzo stairs leads down to the ground floor, where two guest bedrooms are situated on either side of an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that overlooks the swimming pool and terrace. On the villa’s lower level, accessed via a spiral staircase, is a children’s playroom.

To ensure an intimate and private stay experience, we only offer exclusive bookings of either four or five bedrooms, allowing guests to enjoy complete privacy and luxury. Our fifth bedroom, The Akas Suite, also serves as our dedicated spa treatment room, offering a serene space for relaxation and wellness. Should you choose to book all five bedrooms, The Akas Suite will be converted into a guest room, and spa treatments will instead be arranged in the privacy of your own bedroom or at our partner property, Uma Bhumi Spa. Master Bedroom – The Malimbu Suite

The Malimbu Suite is the villa’s most expansive and luxurious bedroom, occupying the entire upper floor and offering an exceptional sense of privacy, space, and serenity. Spread over approximately 140 square metres, this elegant suite has been designed as a private retreat with breathtaking ocean views.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed, creating a versatile space ideal for couples or families. A private living and dining area allows for relaxed in-room dining, while a dedicated study desk provides a comfortable workspace for remote working as your partner unwinds in the TV lounge.

A spacious walk-in wardrobe leads to the ensuite bathroom, which includes a terrazzo bathtub, an indoor shower, and a secluded outdoor shower. Moroccan-style lanterns enhance the ambience, adding warmth and character to the suite.

Step onto the private balcony and outdoor lounge to relax and take in uninterrupted panoramic views of the ocean and Mount Agung, an ever-changing backdrop from sunrise to sunset.

Guest Bedroom 1 – Coco Room

Located upstairs, the Coco Room is a beautifully designed bedroom that blends natural textures with vibrant detailing. The room spans approximately 80 square metres and features a striking bed head crafted from naturally edged solid wood, bringing warmth and character to the space.

The comfortable king-sized bed can be complemented with an additional child’s bed upon request. Furnishings include a wardrobe cabinet and a multi-functional table and chairs, making the room both stylish and practical.

The ensuite bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and indoor shower, while the private balcony and outdoor lounge offer sweeping ocean views across Mount Agung and the dramatic rocky shoreline below.

Guest Bedroom 2 – Ocean Retreat

The Ocean Retreat is a contemporary ground-floor bedroom designed for comfort and tranquillity. Measuring approximately 60 square metres, it features twin beds that can be seamlessly combined into a king-sized bed, with an additional child’s bed available upon request.

The room includes ample wardrobe space and a multi-functional table and chairs, ideal for relaxed moments indoors. Outside, an inviting seating lounge and alfresco dining area allow guests to enjoy the fresh sea air.

The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and indoor shower, while panoramic views of the ocean and Mount Agung create a calming coastal atmosphere throughout the room.

Guest Bedroom 3 – Poolside Haven

The Poolside Haven is a king-bedded ground-floor room offering direct access to the infinity pool, making it an ideal choice for guests who enjoy effortless indoor-outdoor living. The room spans approximately 60 square metres and is designed for both relaxation and convenience.

Furnishings include a wardrobe, table, and chairs, while the ensuite bathroom features an indoor shower as well as a private outdoor shower, perfect for refreshing after a swim.

Guest Bedroom 4 / Spa Room – Akas Suite

If a fifth bedroom is not required, the Akas Suite can be transformed into a dedicated spa room for in-villa treatments. Panoramic ocean views of Mount Agung enhance the tranquil atmosphere, while an outdoor dining space with a table completes this adaptable retreat.
